Information You Submit
Search terms
A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. Uintah County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
Information sent by email or through a contact form may be kept long enough to answer and manage the request. It is not shared outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine technical records may be created when a page loads. They can include:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring site, when supplied; and
- request dates and timestamps.
Cookies
Cookies can help measure how visitors use the site. Browser settings can block or remove them, though some functions may then work differently.
How Data Is Used
Collected information can support several ordinary operations:
- keeping pages available and responsive;
- sending search requests to the selected partner;
- measuring which information visitors use;
- finding errors and technical problems; and
- displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests.
Links and Outside Services
Links lead to Uintah County offices, Utah courts and corrections pages, release-record resources, federal locators, and outside search services. The destination's privacy policy governs after a visitor leaves this site. Some advertising providers may measure activity across multiple sites for interest-based advertising on their own systems.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited data may reach search partners that process a query, analytics providers, advertising networks, or law enforcement and government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Security Practices
Reasonable safeguards are used for information under this site's control. No website, network, or online storage system can be promised as fully secure or immune from unauthorized access.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the law that applies, a person may ask for a copy of data held about them, request correction, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. A request can be submitted through Contact Us. Identity may need to be verified before action is taken.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as services or legal duties change. A new version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
